Teaching objectives:

1)      Ss learn to sing the song <Hey Jude> and learn more about the band –Beatles.

Teaching key points:

Time: September 25^th                                 Place: Classroom 2105

Teaching objectives:

2)      Ss learn to sing the song <Yesterday Once More> and learn more about the band –Carpenters.

Teaching key points:

when i was young i'd listen to the radio

waiting for my favorite songs

when they played i'd sing along

it made me smile

those were such happy times

and not so long ago

how i wonder where they'd gone

but they're back again just like a long lost friend

all the songs i love so well

every sha-la-la-la

every wo-wo still shine

every shinga-linga-ling

that they're started to sing so fine

when they get to the part

where he's breaking her heart

it can really make me cry

just like before

it's yesterday once more

shoobie do lang lang

looking back on how it was in years gone by

and the good time that i had

makes today seem rather sad

so much has changed

it was songs of love that i would sing to them

and i'd memorize each word

those old melodies

still sound so good to me

as they melt the years away

every sha-la-la-la every wo-wo

still shine

every shinga-linga-ling

that they're starting to sing

so fine

all my best memories

come back clearly to me

some can even make me cry

just like before   it's yesterday once more

Presentation

T: Someone like u is a love song, and today we are going to learn another love song, and actually it’s a love theme in a great movie. Now, let’s watch the video first.

T: What’s the name of this movie?----Titanic

T: Can you tell me sth about this movie? For example, what does it tell us? And which sentence in this movie you remember?

T: Do you know who sings this song?---Celion Dion.

T：This is Celion Dion, this is her French name, she was born in …..She is a Canadian singer

Actually she was a teen star in a French-speaking world.
